We had a great meeting last Thursday with around 80 attendees. We learned about opportunities to become a leader in the HCV community in order to help others living with hep C to get tested and treated. We heard the experiences of a panel of our awesome peer navigators and had a fun and informative “Ask a Doctor, Tell a Doctor” session with Coordinating Committee member Dr. Annie Luetkemeyer, from UCSF. We also hosted a voter registration drive, held a free raffle, and had a delicious dinner courtesy of Gilead. The videographers of our upcoming video series, “New Treatments have Changed the Game”, Plus M Productions, took pictures for our photo booth and also spoke a little bit about the upcoming project.
